air bag light

i have a 2002 f150 and irecently removed my instrument cluster because at the time i wanted to remove my radio. i forgot to dissconnect the battery and once it put it all back together my airbag light by my spedo blinks and then stays on. also the key switch to turn the passenger bag on and off does nto respond, the light will not turn on. what can i do to fix it? what could i have bumped when i took the panel off?

Check all your connections around the steering column and make sure nothing is unplugged. Usually when the light blinks it means the airbag is completely disabled which leads me to believe you have lost a connection somewhere.

all plugs seem to be connected, any other ideas?

disconnect the light for airbag off( the light above the radio) then reconnect it

i tried unplugging the sensor and plugging it back in, witht the battery connected and with it disconnected but not luck. any other ideas? i really do not get it.
