I have a 1999 F150 with 5.4 and my air bag light is flashing code 27 so which sensor is it and where is it? Also the light is not on for the passenger air bag I have the switch turned off any ideas???

I did and the light was burned out on the (PAD) passenger air bag switch I replaced the led and added the resistor but still won't light up during start up and once it is turned off the only time it lights up is when I turn the truck off it comes on for a second and my air bag light is still flashing??? any more ideas??

 

Use the light bulb, don't mess with the LED. You likely got the polarity of the LED backwards.

 

no i tried it both ways so that shouldn't be the problem the original light bulb looked like a led ford doesn't even sell it they will only sell the entire switch.
