Air bag light question

Air bag light question
Just recently my air bag light is coming on when i turn the truck on. It will come on the flash for a couple times then it will stay on then flash. I am pretty sure it is because the indicator light is out that lights up when you turn the passenger air bag off. Is there anyway to fix this without taking it to the ford dealer

It's trying to talk to you. Count the number of flashes each time and report back. If it flashes 2 times, then flashes 7 times, that's air bag code 27. Tell us what the code is and we'll go from there.

Here was my experience and as you can read it eventually fixed itself after the rains stopped and everything got good and dry!

I started the truck this morning and I counted the flashes on the light. There was 2 flashes then a pause then 7 more flashes so it is the code 27 what does this mean and is there anyway I can fix it without gong to the dealer

I'd try this first as well. This is the most common issue we see (which is why I brought up the 27 code in my example).
