300 random miss.
Got a random miss in my 300.
This is the engine. 300 bored .020, 252 comp cam, stock 1 bbl intake/exhaust, points dizzy with a pertronix ignitor.
This is what I have done.- Changed plugs, tightened intake and exhaust manifolds, Checked 3 times for vaccum leaks with ether, Disconected all vaccum lines to rout out leaks, re-timed 4 times, tightened rockers to be sure, gaurenteed voltage to coil, checked cap and rotter and polished them with emery, put timing light on to each wire and all I can tell you is that the miss happens on all cylinders but not at the same time. The miss is in the coil lead also.
Does anyone out there think that my ignitor may be burnt? She will fire on all six, but it aint right. Any other ideas.
