2004 v-10 programer or chip???
I have a 2004 crew cab v-10 with 4" lift and 315/70/16 tires.I want to put a programer or something in it to help with gas mpg and add a little power to.Any answers sure would help. thanks

Mike won't steer you wrong. He has an excellent reputation here. I'm a customer as well.
You may want to start putting a little extra away for a gear swap to 4.30s minimum, 4.56s recommended.

Most guys here will recommend a tuner that supports "custom" tunes for economy, towing, and/or performance. The "canned" tunes like those found in the Hypertech, Edge, etc. don't perform as well. I too recommend Mike at 5 Star Tuning. Look at the SCT X3 tuner with custom tunes.

i also would say go with mike at 5 star. i got my SCT3 tuner and could not be more happy with it! best money spent so far.

no problem. i've been eyeing a cheaper no name brand intake off ebay. as i cant see spending what they want on a K&N.

The reuseable filter with the S&B kits are oiled filters, the dry filter they offer are disposable filters. Nothing wrong with an oiled filter if you don't over oil it.
If you want an aftermarket intake your best bet is to get the tuner and intake setup from 5 star so the tune is made to work with the intake. The SPD y-pipe is a good option to increase power just be aware you will get some flutter with it when using the stock exhaust manifolds.
