I must have missed that. Did anyone suggest checking the rear wheel speed sensor and wiring? It's on the front of the rear axle. Erratic signals from it can cause the symptoms you describe too. I'd check and clean the connection on it first.

+1 and also remove the magnetic probe attached to it going into the pumpkin, might be sludged up with shavings/particles and need a good cleaning...
