So can bad bulbs or connections in teh back of the truck. You don't have LED lights on it do you? They cause a lot of problems sometimes.

no leds but i do have a abs light that comes on as soon as i start to move forward.

I must have missed that. Did anyone suggest checking the rear wheel speed sensor and wiring? It's on the front of the rear axle. Erratic signals from it can cause the symptoms you describe too. I'd check and clean the connection on it first.
