Bronco11 wont shift
Hello Guys, Well here it goes.
Jumped in the truck to head out to work. Put it in Rev and nothing, I have no gears. Dont really know where to start. Never had this happen before always ran fine.
I heard Ford has a shift pin inside the tranny that may have snapped.
Any ideas would be great.

Sounds like either the torque converter splines stripped or the pump failed. either way its going to probly have to be rebuilt. The worse case could be what happened to my A4ld, the OD unit tore up and trashed the tranny(that happened in gear at speed, locked up the rear wheels before more parts broke!)
The probly best is getting one from a relable junkyard(ones who give 30 day warranty) and put it in. I got a A4ld from a 4.0L engine explorer/ranger and they are direct bolt in AND are better built than the 2.9L tranny. Find a 93 to 94? explorer/ranger as they would have all the upgrades before Ford went the the full electronic shift tranny.
