Just wondering how many of you 94+ F150 owners with the mass air flow and 302 are happy with it's performance. I know that a 351w would be a better choice but i have to say i am really happy with the 302 right now. Just wondering if i was the only one or are there others that are happy with theirs to?
Not happy with my 95,but has more to do with gears and tire size then it does the engine. whoever the moron ford engineer is that thought 3.08's in a 4wd(or any) truck was a good idea should be castrated so they can't reproduce.
I like my 95 MA 302 , Its not near stock , They respond very well to performance upgrades . Yeah same here for the 3.08 gears , what were they thinking ???? With 33s i would go 4.56 ....Lew
My truck wasn't mass air to begin with but I have to say it runs well with it and I'd never want to go back. The 5.0 in there now does pretty good but knowing how much better a 5.8 pushes this 5000lb truck around really exposes the need for more gears with the 5.0.
My 96 302/e4od runs good with 320,000 without a rebuild. Trans is stock too. It needs the injectors cleaned but overall has ran great since I bought it in 2000 with 150,000
