I have a '91 150 w/302. I've been looking for a new mass air flow sensor. Anyone seen one on the net? I was also wondering how much they help? Anyone installed one?
I've gotta agree with charlez on this one. I really don't believe that they had the mass airflow sensors on the '91 F150s. However, I think you can install them as an aftermarket thing so that could be how your truck got one. But then again we could be wrong. Anyways, if you look at Granatelli Motor Sports, they've got some of the better MAFS I've seen. I look forward to upgrading mine soon. Good luck.
Almost forgot, generally the Granatelli MAFS run about $350+, depending on what size and finishes and stuff. They should be easy to install in under 20 minutes. Good luck.
I checked and Granatelli does not even have a listing for a '91. I am like the others - I don't believe it has the mass air kit, unless done as an aftermarket setup. If you have one already on the truck, I would measure its diameter and hole settings, and get the model numbers off it, and call Granatelli to see if they can modify and reprogram a module to work on it.
