i need a code scaner
i scaner with the buss test would be good but i need code scaner now so is there anying cheap ones scaner

I was able to get one from A Z for free. I needed to leave a deposit until i brought it back. Hope this helps.

Autozone scanners don't work on Powerstrokes.

AE is the popular scanner around here. Perhaps if you told us where you were, someone close by who has one might volunteer to help you out.

For give my ignorance but if the system is an OBII why won't a OBII scanner work on a power strocke?

It's an OBDII plug, but technically it's not OBDII compliant.
It uses Ford codes, not standard OBDII codes.
