Anyone have good/bad experiences with Accel Injectors?
I want to replace all of mine. Ford wants $92 each wholesale, AZ wants $70 each, I can get a set of 8 Accel brand from Summit (26 lb stockers) for $279. The Ford Racing 30 pounders are only $240 for a set of 8. What to do?
My other question is I know the stock Fuel pumps only supply up to the 24lb injectors capacity. If going to 30 lbs is it going to effect the driveability that much?
I would stick with the stock size to avoid any kind of tuning headache. Ford Racing should have 24 lb/hr injectors for about the same price as the 30s. Another option would be to have a look on ebay for reconditioned injectors.

i would go to www.fordfuelinjection.com and buy there FI rebuild kit for 25.00 bucks and clean and rebuild them. Lots of info on there how to
I would go with the FR injectors , if you want some real nice injectors go to Pro M racing , you can get a set of matched injectors that have been flow tested so they all flow the same . I think they start at about 280.00 for a set of eight...Lew
I know I would need a calibration / reflashing if I go with a bigger injector. However I don't think my stock fuel pumps would fully supply injectors bigger than 24 lbs anyway.
I have been needing a reflashing in a big way for over a year and just have not got around to doing it
