I saw a max 100 degree drop in EGT's with a 6.0L intercooler.
Considering that most aftermarket intercoolers cost around $1200, and you can pick up used 6.0L intercoolers for less than $200, it's an extremely cost effective swap for people running a chip with stock injectors, or even some very mild injectors.
