I have no tail lamps, truck or trailer. I checked the fuses they're ok. The headlamp switch is only 3 months old. Where is the trailer lamp relay? there is not a fuse box under my hood. There are 2 sets of relays on the driver's side fender apron. 1 towards the front of the truck and 1 towards the firewall. I checked for power from the tail lites to the connectors under the driver's door near the frame rail, there is no power to truck or trailer connectors. HELP any input would be deeply appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
I see that your truck is 2002 F-250. Do you have all your other lights working. Like do you have the license plate light that is still working. Does all your front parking lights work.
I found a trailor tow relay parking lamp, but no trailor lamp relay. It is relay K 356 located in the central junction box. The power that goes throught the relay and out the 7 pin plug at the back of the truck is from fuse F2.38 in the central junction box. Make sure to use a meter to check the fuse just looking sometimes can fake you out.
Are you sure you don't have a relay/fuse box under the hood up near the around the front fender area? I have had the same problem and that is where I fuse that brought life back to the lights.
Best I recall my 1999 F-350, 2001 F-350, 2003 F-450 and heck there was even a F-250 in there somewhere and they all had a relay/fuse box under the hood.
But, I have been wrong before, and my wife tells me I will be wrong again and often!!
thanks for the info on the relay. All front lite and cab markers are working. no tail or license lites. turn and stop are fine. I hope to be able to get off work early enough tommorow to check the relay and yes I'm going to meter the fuse, I just looked at it and they can fake you out! THANKS GUYS
I had the same problem on my 2002 F-350--ended up being a broken wire in the main loom on the drivers side frame rail underneath the hole for the fuel fill pipe. Trace the wire (sorry I dont remember what color it is--maybe brown) with a test light. Its kind of a pain to get to but not too bad--good luck.

I was just asking because the prints show the power coming from the same source for the tail lights and the license plate light.
