DEF question

If they say every def fill about 7500 miles. What happens if it takes me over a year to even get 7500 miles or some even two years?

Do i have to drain the tank and refill with fresh? OR will it be ok? will it crytalize, gum up, spit sputter.
IS there even a drain hole to get out old stuff?

thanks ahead of time

all good questions. I hear that there will be a shelf life to it but not sure once it is in the tank.

Usage rate should be about 2 gallons for every 100 gallons of diesel. Personnaly, I would be inclined to not put more DEF in the resevoir than I would use in a year.

i don't think it would, my bet would be an inline filter is what they would use.
