cherry bomb extreme

how do you guys think a 3"in dual 2.5" out cherry bomb extreme would sound on a 300? anyone have vids?

Like a loud tractor.IMO straight 6's are a lot like diesels you can make them loud but it doesn't matter what kind of muffler you run they all sound the same.Does your truck have cats on it also? Because if you still have both cats It really won't make a difference because the cats do a good job of muffling the sound as it is and buying an expensive muffler will just be a waste of $$$$

yea ive still got both cats. ive had the idea of just removing all the piping thats starting to rot away and put a turn down off the muffler i have now. im just trying to get it as loud as i can inside the cab, and still sound good and un ricey like ha

well your better just cutting the muffler off and running a straight pipe off the cats with a turndown then,if you want it loud inside the cab.I will have to tell you that it's not going to be very loud or sound all that good though.

yea i figured thats the way it will be. i dont know exactly what i wanna do yet, it wont be until the summer anyways bu ill keep updated

what diameter piping are you using? 2.5"? and what is the cold air intake that you have, just the filter with the stock intake box went?

Im running 2 1/4 piping and 4 inch tips and the intake is two cone filter on stock intake hose i had bad down piper gasket when i did the videos the truck is louder now
