Those prices seem decent (assuming lifetime warranty).
I put 35% on the front doors and 20% on the rear doors and back glass. The installer told me adding in the stock smoke in the glass, the total tint factor in back is around 5%.
I think it looks great, but then again I probably couldn't own a vehicle without having it tinted.
I just bought and installed my own tint for the first time ever. Got it on ebay (pre-cut kit) and it fit great. I went with limo in all sides and rear and 20% in front sides. Only got one crease in 7 windows (just installed a sliding rear). State laws say what you can have in shade in front and/ or rear windows.
i would like limo, but im worried about paying tickets all of the time.
Don't worry about the tickets. I have been running illegal tint here in Michigan for 4.5 years now and only been pulled over for it once. Also the cop must have really been looking for people with tint because I was doing at least 55 mph and he was too going in opposite directions when he noticed it. Also when he came to my window, he had a copy of the law. Was a real ***** about it but at least gave me a fix-it-ticket. I originally had 5% prior to the ticket. R&R with 20%. Definately not dark enough though. I would go with 5%.
I lied. I just checked and it's limo all around. No laws to worry about ere though. I bought a sheet of 20% to try in the windshield but haven't had the ***** to put it in yet. Won't be taking the big truck out in the dark after that.....

One of my buddies has the windshield tinted and looks BA! He has a perscription for his wife because she is partially blind. I have been trying for 3 yrs to get a prescription but they won't give me one.

Let me quess, MICHIGAN STATE POLICE.
I got a tint ticket and thought it was, like in the past a fix-it ticket, but nope. It was a $ 100.00 ticket.
I have factory 20% on the rear doors and window, and since then put 5% all around on all windows, 50% on the windshield, and a 5% strip across the top of the window to the bottom of the mirror. 50% is nice on the front because you can see a body silhouette in there but cannot identify a face, during the day into the sun. It also cuts down on the glare off the dash. I was going to go 42% but my buddy has that on his windshield and with black side windows you can NOT see him inside it. That is enough for a cop to turn around and pull someone over and be a dick about tint just because it's illegal to have ANY on it. With mine at least they can see someone inside and are less likely to turn around. I got pulled over two days ago at night and the cop didnt say anything about tint... I did have the interior light on though. I do want to go get 20% laid over top the front doors because you can still see me inside
BTW for the windshield, strip, side windows and rear windows it was $330
I put 20% on the front doors of my work truck, all black, and it matches the rear perfectly and is just enough for a work truck used at night too.

Just becareful and know the law. No since on paying the state more money than they already take. I know some states are very strict and others could care less. Here in AZ the motor cops like to screw with you. Just my .02
As others have said, check state laws before doing any tint work. That said, I just checked my paypal account and paid $25 for the window kit in limo and $35 for a 20' strip of 20% which I figger to use on the windshield and my boat.
I used a little blade scraper and some acetone to clean up and a plastic vinyl squeegee to install and the whole operation went pretty smoothly. If you want to save a few bucks and have the time, I'd definitely recommend doing it yourself.
