What axle is axle code H16?

This is on an 07 SSV Expedition.

I think that it is a 3.73, as all of Ford's 3.73 axle ratios end in a "6".

Bot LS or non-LS?

Thanks.

And a typo on my part. The axle code is H6.

I stand corrected. The SSV does come with a LS. I assume it does not have the traction control also?

17 = 3.31 non-limited slip
19 = 3.55 non-limited slip
H6 = 3.73 limited slip
H7 = 3.31 limited slip
H9 = 3.55 limited slip

Now that you mention it, there is no "RSC" badge on the back liftgate.

I think that for the RSC to work as designed, a LS would create problems.

Is this a personal vehicle?

Also, the Expy limos have the LS as well.

This is a truck that I am looking to buy. It was used as a security vehicle, either for a security company or at some mfg. plant.

Actually, the SSV's have some features that I like. The 3.73 (I tow). Column shift auto. Plain grille, wheels. Rubber floor mats (easy to clean).

The lack of RSC is not a deal breaker. My '97 does not have it.

Yeah, you won't miss it. Does it have a bench seat? That would be nice, 9 seats.

No. Bench was only available in the SSV, but this one just has the console delete. So two buckets and a big hole.

I guess to put radios and such. If you do end up getting it I would be interested in pictures.

It has RSC unless it's a export model but even the models I've seen in the middle east has RSC.

FYI you can use RSC with a locker and limited slip (see the 09+ F-150).

Missed the Expy. Too much money.

Bought an '01 'Gator instead.
