Put Engine back together-injectors buzz continuously
I discovered after removing the valve covers and HP oil rails that the valve train was ok. No more bent push rods. We put the engine back together and turned key on. The injectors buzz continuously. Any ideas as to why?

We solved that issue but it now runs for a minute or so, slows down, labors and quits. It is then very difficult to crank. Wait 5 minutes and it does the same thing again.
I love this site. The people here are a fantastic bunch. I want to thank Bismic, Cheezit,
Myock, Texas 25... and any of the other techs and guru's here. We ordinary guys would be in even deeper doo doo than we get into without all the help.
This goes back to when it just quit while I was driving. My Auto Enginuity scan showed low contribution on cylinder 2. I had used a cleaned and reassembled lifter on that cylinder during the previous push rod debacle. I removed both side valve covers and HP oil rails and checked out the valve train. All was operating normal. Reassembled and restarted. This is where we are at today. I am still considering an engine transplant. No confidence in this one since the oil cooler fiasco. I appreciate all your help
this may seem kinda dumb but heres what come to mind. low voltage, ficm connections, oil level. air in hpp system.
also if the cyclinder walls are washed (oil free) this may happen. as the engine tries to rebuild compression.
all I got on this but Im sure Ill think of some more.
Did you replace your o-rings on your HP oil rails? I was told not to re-use them once they are removed you may loose a tight seal. What do you think Cheezit?

Speaking of oil rails, I hope OP didn't over tighten them. Tight is good, but if you over tighten them, you'll lose oil pressure to the injector(s) and that'll cause the injector(s) to go bad eventually.

is this a personal experence tex? I really never gave this much thought. I put them pack together with a 1/4 air rachet that puts out 18'lbs. Thinking about it though I have had a few come in with the o-ring damaged that sits under the d-ring.
something to ponder.
