So, Ive been doing am injector cup replacement for awhile. Finally, almost done putting everything back together. As I'm working on this I got to thinking about weather I should run an injector buzz test prior to putting everything back together and running the engine. I'm just trying to catch any issues before I fire it up.
Any additional ideas from you guys would be great.
I would.. I would also run the motor for a bit to see the oil pouring out the back(top)of the injector to make sure the oil is flowing.
Before you try to start it i would turn the motor over a few times by hand to make sure you won't have a dead head issue from the oil and deisel flushing into the cylinders.
