Faulty IDM? Looking for confirmation
Vehicle is a 2002 Excursion that died going down the road. Injector buzz test returns codes 1293 and 1294. Feed wire at both valve covers measure 110 volts. Removed IDM and connectors at valve covers. The corresponding pins at IDM and valve cover connectors show continuity with no shorts. With valve cover connectors plugged in checking continuity from high voltage feed pins to their proper injector pins at the IDM connector shows 3.1 ohms.

The pins are arranged like this:
G - G - I - I - C - I - I - G - G
If you measure C to ground with the key on I got 4.5 on drivers side and 1.3 on passanger. I knew someone that what measuring 100vdc + with key on and he had a bad idm, loose uvc and a bad solenoid on a injector.

Did you also ohm the glow plug pins against battery ground to get a better feel for the connector under the valve cover? Did you wiggle / shake the wiring harness while taking your readings to make sure there's not an intermittent issue? Does the truck start now, or is it still dead? Basic checks performed (oil full, fuses good, filters good, fuel in bowl, etc.)? Any smoke while cranking? What other codes showed up? Do you have a P1316 also? When you did the buzz test, could you hear the injectors go through the buzz cycle?
