Probably not, I would have remembered a Fuego that had some guts. The only thing it had in common with FIRE was many probably got torched before the full comp ran out on the insurance policies.

We had a buddy in high school who had one and we always would pick it up and turn it sideways between two parked cars while he was in class. If I remember correctly the gear shifter ran thru the firewall and you moved it like you were shifting gears on a motorcycle.
