Yep or the machine guns. Does sorta look like a ME109 considering how the headlights are made in.

Looks like they might have used leftover fuselage parts from the ME-163 rocket powered fighter!

This is the G model but it does look simmilar though in how the cockpit area is laid out on that car.

For the Komet I dont see many features common other than the narrow short running gear tract.

The G model 109 appears to be genuine with the DB601 engine instead of the RR Merlin that was transplanted into the Spanish air force 109s after the war. Great pics!

Yep, only thing is im not a fan of the G model I like the E model more but I like the G model over the K model though which is strange lol.

But I wouldnt be suprised if that Messerschmitt had some basis off of some plane designs incorporated into the body style.

I believe the Me 109 G model was responsible for the downing of more allied aircraft than any other German fighter, even the Fw-190. It was Major Erich Hartmans aircraft that he scored 352 air to air victories in...............Amazing that Messerschmidt couldn't put all that engineering talent into something more impressive.

What was it Jack Palance said in City Slickers? "I take craps bigger than you" or something to that effect. Comes to mind when I see one of them "smart" cars.

To each their own, I couldn't see myself driving one, I know first hand I don't even fit in the damn things lol. A buddy of mines dad has a smart car, and the thing has a habit of eating brake sensors. The "autostick" transmission cars are equipped with a sensor/valve that keeps pressure on the brakes when the car is at a stand still, its suppose to keep the vehicle from rolling. The sensor has crapped out 3 times on his car already, the car is an 08 model with 20,000 miles. Basically when the sensor goes the brakes wont release, and all three times he was sitting at a red light and the car just wouldn't move. Towing them is an interesting matter, that is if you can find anyone willing to tow the damn thing. They had to use roller jacks around the tires and pull it up onto a rollback flat bed towing rig.

I thought these were pretty cool...

My dad used the front rack/pinion steering from one of these cars to build a dune buddy. The most simple steering setup ive ever seen.

Early Honda's appear to have conventional doors. Don't recall seeing anything other than that when they started gaining sales in the early '70s where I was--Washington state. Nothing here to indicate otherwise:

BMW, on the other foot, had that "Front door" thing going on the micro cars:
