I am looking tol ower my f-150 about 2 inches in the rear to level it with front. i dont haul heavy loads so i am not concerened with that issue. All i have found are front end only lowering kits or both front and rear lowering kits. I have heard of de-arching the leaf springs or cutting the rear springs to coorect height. Any suggestions?
do you have 4wd? if so you can take out the blocks on the back....buy u bolts from a 2wd version and hook it back up....if not there are lowering shackles for the back.....i have seen them out there.
I have a 07 screw 4X4 and would like to lower it also
I've read about the lowering shackles and planned on going that route....I had no idea I could just remove he block....have others done his?? what did you do just go to the dealer and order the 2WD shackle bolts?
I believe that the blocks are 2" and yes you can go and order the u bolts from the dealer....there are some other threads out there on this....you should search for them...might have some more specifics.
I have a set of ground force shackles, new in box that I'd like to sell. Need to sell my truck so no sense spending the time installing these on mine. If anyone is interested in them, message me back. Thanks..
