that's a common site at pismo beach in Ca.

that crossing is pretty nasty certain times of the year

I've done it plenty of times, but not that severe!

we beach camp here on long island and i cant imagine why someone would do that. why not wait until the tide goes out? that trailer is definitly ruined.

it's not the tide. there is run off from a power plant that certain times of the year the water can be 4' deep. some fools make it thru some dont. I won't go thru if it's up past my running boards.

do a search for pismo or oceano dunes and you'll probably see some people in real bad shape

Id never drive my truck into the ocean, can you say rust! Especially on that thin trailer frame. Not to mention all the electrical is shot too.
