Looking forward to that. Sadly, I'll be at work and probably won't be able to get online but I'll try. Kudos Adrian!
I sadly cant envisage him being able to provide us with any information that isn't publicly available (such as HP/TQ etc.) but we can hope
It isn't a "chat" per say. He will just be here to post answers to questions that get asked about the 2011 SD

Hello,
Had an idea and wanted to recommend a fix/refinement for the mandated EPA cleaning of the DPF.
As a current owner of a 08 F250 with the diesel based upon my personal experience and of others that I know I believe that you could re-program the PCM to show the need for cleaning the exhaust filter in the message center.
Giving the driver the message first then secondly using the existing buttons on the right of the message center allowing the user to initate the cleaning sequence is a much better route to this issue.
For most of the owners/drivers out there. We usually encounter the "cleaning exhaust filter" at the most inopertune time. Your at a stop light, in rush hour traffic ect.
Why not come up with a message for the need to clean in XX miles and the ability to push a button to complete the cycle?
You could still have the mandatory cycle in the system if the driver does not self initate the process.
This capability would greatly enhance driver satifaction and would be an industry first.
I would love the opportunity speak with the design engineers on this issue, even be a test vehicle.
thanks for listen and forwarding my recommendation,
