Who cares what he drives, as long as he is a good welder haha.

Did you take and get it balanced too? Or did he do that for you?

Actually, he does drive a Ford. '05 F350 PSD. His dad has a '97 F250 PSD. Nope, no balancing. I'd have to go to Atom Jet in Brandon for that. $$$$$

I'll maybe have to look into that. I work the next 2 day shifts, so getting anything done on it is not possible until the weekend.

It ended up being $250. It was so far out that the guys at Atom Jet said it couldn't be balanced. As far as they were concerned, I had 2 options. Get another one or retube it. I got it retubed. I'll be putting it on this morning.

That sucks, kinda expensive now, but in the end it will be worth it to have it all done correctly.

Thats sad Dave.. Are they the only guy that balance in Brandon? Did you mark it before you cut the shaft so you could weld it up the same place or was it bent too bad. I got all my stuff done in RD, I was lucky it cost $100.

Yeah, it did suck, but you're right. Now it's done right.
Atom jet is the only place for that. Other places will shorten shafts. I'm sure it was the re-enforcement that my buddy welded on that made for the imbalance. Oh well, live and learn.
