Seat swap, 2000's in a 1997

I recently swapped the seats in my '00 for some King Ranch seats and have my old ones for sale. A guy here locally is wanting them for his '97. Does anyone know if they will swap w/o modifying the current configuration on his '97? I told him I didn't know if they would be a direct replacement, but was fairly sure that he would be able to make them work. Thanks for any input.

I believe when I was looking to do this I read I had to redrill the holes in the floor and they would work. I know if he has a supercab it limits the leg room in the rear in a big way.

Thanks fordboy2. My thoughts were the bolt pattern might not align. It does seem the back seat looks quite a bit like the one that was in my 90 model 350 cc, but that was quite a while back.

I put SD buckets in the front of mine and had to drill all new holes.

the holes do not line up and i beleive you have to make some shims for leveling, the seats are physicly wider as well

i have 2000 seats in mine. 40/20/40 split bench. None of the holes line up. gotta drill all new holes and as coon said they are wider, but no fit issues there. will need to shim them a bit on the passenger side possibly. it kinda depends on if its a RC, EC, or CC.
