Richmond full spool up front?

I've got an 88 bronco, and a while back I blew the spider gears in my rear end. I bought a spool thinking about the easy way out, but then decided against it. It's been sitting for over a year and I was wondering if there's any way I could put it up front..?The spool's for a 8.8, 31 spline rear end, it's a full spool so I'd have to completly replace the limited slip or whatever's up there. Also, would I have un-nessesary wear on the front end? Any input would be great, thanks.

Only if you are running in mud ALL the time, and even then it had better be just straight lines....

No spool up front.

I don't know if it would work in your front axle but with a spool up front you will be buying axle ujoints by the gross.

A spool will work fine in front as long as you NEVER turn. If you turn, things will break. The front axle is an open diff. No limited slip in front.

So even if I turned on the road with the hubs unlocked it'd still break axles? AND in the mud? I don't think I'm gonna chance it then

No, just when they are locked in. When you turn one wheel needs to turn slower, one faster, thats where the trouble starts.

That spool will not work in the front. Rear is 31 spline and the front is 30 and its probly too big cause the front has a smaller 8 1/2 inch ring gear.
