How to introduce Seafoam to intake

I am doing an overhall on my 2.3 ranger and noticed alot of build up in the intake. I bought a can of seafoam but am not sure how to suck in into the intake. Is there a certain vacuum line or hose i can put in the can to suck it through the intake? If so which line is it and where is it located?

Thanks

Never used it but a lot of guys remove the vacuum hose at the brake booster and let the engine suck it through that. However don`t let too much go at once.

I have a spray bottle that i use. I put the seafoam in the spray bottle. pull the brake booster hose off and attach it to the spray bottle. I then pump the seafoam into the booster hose You dont want to pump it to fast and make it stall.
if you are changing plugs or oil etc........do the seafoam first

Maybe consider disconnecting the vapor recovery vacuum line at the throttle body & "T" in, or attaching a piece of tubing there. To the other end of the tubing attach a "sports needle", you know, the metal kind used to inflate foot & basket ***** & insert/dip the sports needle into the SeaFoam.

This will greately lessen the chance of the engine inhaling too much SeaFoam too quickly, hydrolocking the engine & bending something up!!!!

Let us know how it goes.

That stuff is awesome it worked GREAT! I pulled the PCV line and fashioned a bicycle needle as pawpaw suggested to a rubber hose and fed the seafoam in the intake that way. I had to keep the truck revved up while sucking it in. It smoked White like crazy as i fed ~ 1/3 a pint into the intake per seafoams directions. Truck runs like a champ now. I put the rest in the gas and am hoping for better mpg.

time for some football and
