Yall are going to get somebody in trouble Rupe get a stopwatch I'bet you arent giving it a quarter second blast it only takes about as small a squirt as you can give it. lol
If you are going to use either disable your glow plugs first it is possible that a glow plug can ignite it at the wrong time and damage in the green form can occur.

never got wd-40 to work right,ether isnt dangerous unless you soak everything with it and only use a little bit it goes a long way.if your glowplugs are off its no big deal.some diesel engines have ether injection instead of glowplugs.you can also use a gas soaked rag over the intake.i would try the hair dryer over the intakeand see if that works

i will try and find zd9's all 8 local and put them in in the morning, and post the results when i get done. if i cant find them i will order them online. thanks for all the advice and tips.

ok i got the driver's side out and the first one on the passenger side how the heck do you get to the rear ones on the passenger side. do i have to take the connectors off the fuel rail and this big metal round thing i think is the turbo?
