Changing Fluid........
Its time for the 100K mile service on my 03 F250 SD 5.4. What kind of fluid do I need for the front and rear axle? Is it synthetic from the factory? Any limitid slip aid needed? Im not even sure if mine is limited slip.I need to change out the Auto trans fluid as well. Is mercon 5 what I need? Anyone have a link to the trans flush methoid that involved removing the cooler line? Thanks

I went with I think it was 75-90 royal purple in the front and 90-140 for the rear in mine. I remember it was two different weights with the front with a lighter oil in any case. A plus with the royal purple is it has the friction modifiers for the limited slip.
