Valve cover gaskets

Just as a follow up on this subject. I used the dorman set I had. Wires and connectors were fine but the gasket is LEAKING! Both at the VC and at the connectors. I will putting on of our used Ford Gaskets on. Bummer! These will work in a pinch and I will still probably carry a set for on the road repairs if needed.

I had a valve cover gasket leaking on my previous truck, it was leaking through one of the connectors. I replaced it with a Napa (Dorman) set (like 62.00 per side for everything) I sold the truck shortly after I replaced it so I will never know how long it will last......

just for my .02c, i bought ford becuase i burnt my passenger side gasket and my truck now leaks like a siv all over the manifold and it kills a quart every 500ish miles. and it smells!!! ive resealed the gasket with rtv and it still leaks, dang you ford... that was a 150$ trip too..
