I am not trying to make a show truck just want it in and done so I can go back to driving it. Miss my white whale.
This is the sending unit modification for my gas gauge. The 74 and 88 resistance values were different so I just tacked the 74 sender onto the 88 unit. Pretested and turns out junkyard intank pump is bad. Need to replace it. Had to tack on the 88 float arm as it was different too. Angling the 74 sender for the right range was difficult. Hopefully I got at least the empty spot right lol

Here is the stressed out motor mount pic. The motor mount studs ride high in the cut out in the perches. They dont slide all the way down to bottom like they should.

The botched job I did adding the new filler to my bed. The 74 vent shuts off the modern gas nozzles too easy. So hopefully this newer one will allow it to fill normally now.

Engine compartment pic. Can see where I busted off the alternator bracket. Hint dont use it to lift the motor and trans. The lifting eye although handy does not lift squarely. I also busted off the hydraulic clutch resevoir. Needed to replace it anyway. Can sorta see the section of firewall stiffener I cut out of the 88 and tacked onto the wall.

Where I am mounting the engine computer. Still need to fab up a bracket to secure it inside.

The clearance issues with AC and intake.
