I have 1992 F250 7.3L Diesel with a 5 speed manual. My tachometer acts weak. The needle moves up when I accelerate, but not far enough. The needle never shows over 1000 rpm at driving speeds when it should actually be at 2000 or more. Anyone know what my problem is?
I didn't see an article in the tech section for our generation of trucks; do you know where I can find it?
Sorry, but I can't find the article or thread. I know it was on here. It talked about how to clean it and repair it. Maybe it was in the Bronco section or Ranger section.

if you find it see if it can be stickied on the thread -would be a great addition to the other tech subjects
