What else to do?

Well its the end of the year and finally everything is slowing down. Its been a hell of a harvest season. But any way i going to give my truck a day at the spa and work her over good. Other than replacing all fluids and filters and cleaning egr valve is there anything else i need to do. My truck has 145000 miles and i have never cleaned the turbo or ebp sensor. Do you guys think they need cleaning or not? The only problem i have is just it runs rough on a cold start and it takes a little before she is ready to go. Thanks

How much does it cost for the reflash without warranty. Just curious.

Read the TSB 09-24-3...sounds like there is finally a sensible flash. Its only been on the street since Nov...too soon to tell. You're probably hearing about the most recent one previous to this calibration...the Inductive Heat flash...aka "The FICM Killer".

Yes sir...that is the one I rememeber being talked about. I have been away a little while but I am back. I too am starting to see a little rough running in the am hours when it is cold (SoCal cold 45*).

I plug my truck in at night so it is nice and warm when I jump in. I do not notice the rough starts when I plug in the block heater though.

What kind of mileage are you getting? I only ask because some guys get reasonable mileage (18+ where I'm at) and other get horrible mileage. No offense, but if your truck is the later and it didn't effect your mileage...that fine; but I don't want to join you. There's nothing wrong with my current flash (last known flash was 10/05), but if/when that day comes I'd like to know what I'm up against.
