Not switching to 4x4
I have read a lot of the other threads on this problem and followed the troubleshooting suggestions. Here is my confusion, I have checked all my fuses, but at the back of the 4x4 switch on the dash I have no power other than for the indicator light when I turn on the headlights. There IS supposed to be power at some other pin on this switch, right? Any help would be appreciated. I will most likely be getting a call out to plow in the next couple hours and here I sit with no 4 wheel drive. Worst case, is there a way to manually put the transfer in 4 high?

Well, for anyone wondering I have narrowed it down and think it is the 4x4 control module behind the glove box. Problems is Ford wants $400 for the thing. Does anyone know of a reliable alternative source to get one cheaper?

I said cheaper not cheap, you think $400 for a module doesn't sound high? Many of the forums talk about using other hubs instead of Ford's because they are better and less expensive.
