59 ford ignition switch

how do you get the lock cylinder out of the ignition switch? i have the key

Insert the key and turn it to the on position and depress the small button on the bottom side of the switch and pull on the key to remove the key assembly. When installing the assembly make sure that the key is in the on position and the button is pushed in. Then insert the key assembly into the switch and line the button up into the slot and turn the key to the off position. Hope this helps. Mike
