i have a 2003 F-150 4.6 4x4, that has started using about a quart of oil a week, i can't find any leaks, there is no smoke, where could the oil be going? The truck has a 101,000 miles on it.

My truck does the same thing uses 2 quarts every couple weeks 1997 ford f-150 4x4 with 155k and I was wondering the same thing until one day when I stepped on the gas a little fast I noticed in my mirror and puff of white smoke was not to noticeable, but I still seen it.I have not checked the PCV valve yet.
On the 4.6 engine, the PCV valve is on the right side valve cover, the hose goes around the back of the engine to the upper part of the intake manifold.
Actually there is only hose at each end, with a metal tube in between them. The rubber hose ends deteriorate over the years and may need replaced. The PCV valve can be flushed out with some carb cleaner.
