sluggish on take off

i have a 2004 psd 6.0 and at times when i take off it has a hesitation. what could be the problem? i have 85,000 miles on it.

i had the same problem with my 03 crew cab 6.0 f350. the dealer reprogramed the computer under a recall. 1 hour labor that cost nothing. it was in for the fuel pressure sensor at the same time. give them a call it is probably worth it. mine would be fine once at full temp but awful at start up.
