!977 Shortbox Swap
Well My truck is finally coming together. New floors, doors, cab corners. I have searched for a 73-79 Flairside bed without any luck. I have located a very good 85 Flairside bed locally. Besides the obvious problem with the gas tank neck and rear bumper. What other things wont match for this swap. My truck started out as a 1977 Custom F150 4x4 with shortbox and around 5 inches of suspension lift. I really want to make this into a Flairside. Has anyone made this swap and what is needed to make the bed bolt on? Any help would be appreciated.
