New Injector O-rings, Long Crank..typical?
Did the new injector o-ring install yesterday, and ever sence i have had real long crank time to fire, then a quick romp romp and she runs fine. Am i still just working air out of the lines? or did i screw somthing up...lol
Run time so far, about 10mins low rpms(putting around), then did some hi-rpm passes(about four 1/4mile runs) and about 25 in town miles...
Edit: Cranks a good 7-10 seconds....new batteries as of the night before the o-rings and also installed new ford glowplugs...small amount of blue smoke on startup

I agree it takes a bit to work all the air out. I disagree it affects starting time once you fire it the first time. I have had my injectors out several times. Once it starts, the long starting thing is gone for the most part. It usually fires pretty quick the second time. It may not have all the air worked out of the fuel rail but the oil is there or it would not have started the first time.
Just throwing that out there in case your hard starting persists..
