1997, F150, ABS light problem

I have a 1997 F150 that has the ABS light on. I changed the sensor on the rear end housing. It went off for a day and came back on. I changed it again suspecting defective sensor. Light is still on and won’t go off. I see where off the master cylinder a brake lines goes into another device with an electrical plug before going to the rear of the truck. Could it be that and how can I test it.

Sounds like it could be the clock spring in the steering wheel.

Sorry, crossed two things I was thinking about. Check the wiring going to the sensor that you replaced. I could have a break in it .

the sensor you replaced was the rabs - the valve your thinking about is the rabs valve
