same engine different intake
I bought a used replacement engine for my 2002 ford explorer. The intake is different from the one that is coming out. The motor appears to be the same and it looks like it will all mount up - but will it work? The alternator bracket (broke) is also different because of the intake. The dealer says Ford only made one engine and only one will work. Ford says these two engine numbers mean they are the same engine but he (the parts guy) says he does not understand why the intake is different?<o></o>

Why is the intake different? Will I have trouble with sensors? I just don't want to put this in and bells and whistles start going off.<o></o>
