ignition lock problem

1999 F250 light duty 120000 miles. The end of the ignition lock broke of so I removed it but I also had to remove the bearing cap, bearing, and the gear in order to get the piece that was broke off. I reinstalled everything the way i thought it was suppose to go but it won't start. Could I have put the gear or bearing in incorrectly? When I turn the key forward I don't believe it is going all the way into the run position. 1 because it doesn't start and two i can't get the ignition lock back out. Does anyone have a picture of the correct alignment of the bearing and the gear.

thanks
