sounds like the carb's plugged up. try pouring some carb cleaner into the fuel intake, let it sit for a few days then try to start. make sure you pump the gas a bit when you do. if that doesn't fix it your up for a rebuild on the carb

Ive done that in past and yielded temporary results... Ive tooken it off now and guttin' it out see what went wrong. Ive made so many adjustments and had running for a good while then shortly goes into F.U. mode and doesnt turn over or when it does it stalls on accel or idles then stalls. Moved the screws exactly a turn or a turn and a half, moved the Idle adjustment to screw to the right place and still the next day or so nothing . Here goes nothing.
i had that problem with the holly's. fixed it by going with edelbrock.lol
Which model adapts directly over the type of manifold im running with? Because im strongly considering getting one in the near future if this rebuild doesnt go.
i'm running the edelbrock manifold so i could go either way. what type of manifold are you running?
Im not sure but i know its a single plane spread bore has the the firing order stamped on it...I dont see any other Manufacturer name on it..Could it be factory? Is there another way to specify who made it?
checked primary resistance on Igniton Coil found at OL= 10K ohms + {NFG } but secondary resistance at 8 k ohms wtf? but oh well at least I know my coil is crapping out to saturation. now on to the carb rebuild...
