Battery Light Issues

My battery light has been coming on recently. It doesn't stay on but for a minute. I put 2 new batteries in about a month ago. It's on a 2004 F350 XLT 4X4 Dually w/6.0 I already checked for loose wires at batteries and alternator. Could it be the alternator starting to go bad?

Sounds like it. I would run a test on it before you keep replacing batteries.

In my experience that happens when one or more diodes in the alternator fail and the alternator isn't able to put out full power.

Guess I'll add an "agree" on this thread. I had the same type issue when the alternator on my 06 5.4L went out. Battery light came on intermittent one evening, and by the next afternoon it was toast. I would definitely run a test on the alternator before you spend any more money on the batteries.
