15 volts is not too much in and of itself, unless the voltage continues to increase above 15.5.
Buzzard, I Am Pulled Between B,C & D, I'll Tell You Why.
We Have A Consistent 15.5 Volts While Running But Hasn't Gone Over That Yet. Is There A Possibillity You Could Send ALL ?
It sounds like you may have a High Resistance connection someplace. Trace the +positive battery cable to any mechanical joint take it apart and clean it. Get all you can find. Coat the lugs with a very thin film of an electrical grease and tighten firmly.
If this don't work have an auto shop do a diagnostic.
Have you checked your fuses?.On this sylte alternator one of the wires in the plug-in is a voltage control .if the fuse is blown you will have runaway voltage as well as no battery light.
Have you checked the fuse box under the hood. Also you might want to inspect the plug-in that goes into the alternator. If there is a wire broken there it would cause same problem.
