Help needed with AE

Howdy Bro's
My fuel pressure gauge had a dummy spit and was reading zero. So I hooked up my newly acquired AE. (Thanks Clay). Now Im still trying to get my head around what it can do but I cant get a fuel pressure reading through live data. What am I doing wrong ???

I don't think the fuel pressure meter on AE works. Mine doesn't.

There is nothing on a PSD that monitors fuel pressure so therefore the PCM has no input for it.

You will not find a fuel pressure reading in the data.

PowerHungry has a section on their forum that deals directly with AE. Cody monitors it and Bill checks in so you might have more help over there.

Cody is correct. there is no fuel PSI capability on the 7.3 PCM

What he said.

Fuel pressure can only be monitored with a gauge.

Dont know really. The truck was running but it was reading zero. Might of had a foreign body in the line. It runs of the rear port on the fuel bowl. Or it could be a fault within the gauge.

Brian,

I see you have the CCK. If it is a later model there is an 1/8" NPT plug at the tee. I removed that plug and plumbed my fuel gauge sender
to the tee. That way you are seeing the fuel pressure after feeding the injectors and also post fuel filter. Post filter you won't get debris
in sending unit and a decrease in pressure would indicate time to change filter. Just an idea.

Thx for that Robin. I will check out my CCK but it looks the same as yours. If so I will change it over the Xmass break.
