Hey I'm new to this sight and I need help. 06 6.0 has fuel leak coming from housing mounted on the side of the top fuel filter. With engine running one drip every 2 seconds. Its not coming from the cap. Does anyone know what part is needed to fix this problem? Thanks
Hey just hoping for a fast response so I get go back to work on Monday Thanks
Probably the fuel pressure regulator gasket - what cost less than $5 at dealer. Well not to replace it, just the part.
It also could be one of the fuel lines or the pressure port plug. It is kind of hard to pinpoint at that location, if your engine running, because the fan blows right there. Wipe it dry, turn the key on, don't start the engine, and it will show where is it coming from. You have about 20 seconds while the fuel pump is running.
OK thanks I have a warranty but I would like to avoid paying a $50 deductible for them to change it, is it pretty simple to change? it looks like 4 torque head bolts holding in on. Also I did the test with engine not running and yes the leak is coming from around the seal joint so I would say yall are right on with the gasket
