Mechanical fuel pump leak? Help
Ok I need a hand my truck runs great other then a lil sputter after shut down! But when you shut it off the mechanical fuel pump leaks after shutting it off drips for a few mins. The lines seem dry I dunno where it's coming from if it was the diaphragm wouldnt it leak while running?

Small leak "may" be only showing up while it's under pressure. Check oil to make sure it's not leaking into the crankcase. Either way, if it's leaking, replace it. Sputter after shutdown is likely timing or carbon buildup in cylinders.

Just checked yeap she leaked into the crankcase pill change and a new pump. The truck spent the last 24 yrs it drove around a office complex prob never going over 35mph so I think there is alot of carbon build up seafoam time
